Project 6060 – Lesson 28
Everything Has to be Tidy
Yesterday I went to the Madame Tussauds museum in London. I saw lots of statues of famous and well-known people in there. I took photos with a few of them. For me, the most interesting was the statue of David Beckham, former footballer and captain of England’s national team. Since childhood I’ve loved the way he plays, but he doesn’t play anymore. In 2013, at the age of 38, after 20 years of professional football, Beckham bid farewell to football as a player.
First, my sister took a photo with his statue. Next, it was my turn. Suddenly one corner of the hall became very busy. I looked back. I was so surprised.
David Beckham was there with his wife, Victoria, and his four children. He loves his family and spends most of his spare time with them. That day too, for this very reason, he was there with his family. There were loads of kids all around him. My sister and I went up to the front too and took photos of them.
Beckham really likes music, film, sports, shopping and charity work. Of course, he’s also a little particular! Everything in his life has to be tidy. For example, they have three fridges! Food in one, salad in the second, and they only put drinks in the third. He is of a strange disposition. For instance, if there are five cans of drink, he throws one away because everything has to be in pairs or couples.
Tout doit être bien rangé
Todo tiene que estar ordenado
