Project 6060 – Lesson 25
Tidy Your Room
As of today, I am alone for three weeks because my father and mother went to Iran last night. At first I was really happy to be alone and not to have anybody to order me around anymore, but this happiness ended very quickly.
In the morning I got out of bed and opened the fridge door. There was nothing inside the fridge apart from a bottle of water. There was a piece of paper on the table in my mother’s handwriting. I started to read the letter:
Good morning. Our trip came about suddenly. You’re alone for three weeks from today.
We didn’t have much cash. There is some money on the television. Get by with this money for that time. Buy bread, milk, butter, honey and cheese for your breakfast. We have rice, oil, eggs, onions and potatoes in the kitchen cabinet. There is also some meat and chicken in the freezer. Prepare your own lunch and dinner. Also don’t go to restaurants and eat sandwiches a lot because eating out is not healthy and your money will soon run out. Tidy your room every morning and water the flowers.
Be sure to clean the house, wash the dishes and get food ready for when we come.
Look after yourself, my girl.
